The "Shop With A Cop" Program gives underprivileged children a chance to obtain school supplies and shop for the holidays. Boise Police Officers, the Boise Police Association, and the Boise Police Victim Witness unit help fund the program that holds this event twice a year. Shop with a cop pairs a young person with an officer for a shopping excursion at a local retailer. This event gives kids a chance to interact in a positive environment and often times kids choose to purchase items to assist their parents and family.
